We’ve said it before, and we’ll keep saying it: real furniture isn’t just made to last, it’s made to evolve.
At Reforest, we design every piece with repair in mind. That’s not an afterthought, it’s a philosophy.
Because real life gets messy. Dogs chew things. Kids get creative with permanent markers. Tables get dented, loved, moved, spilled on, and reimagined. And when that happens, you shouldn’t have to replace the whole piece.
Just the part.
Our furniture is made using precision screws and metal inserts, so it can be taken apart and put back together again (and again, and again) without stripping threads or compromising structure. If a leg breaks or a panel wears down, we can swap it out. If your needs change, we can adapt the size, shape, or even the material. That’s what it means to build for the long haul.
Want a taller table?
Keep your legs and upgrade the top.
Want a new finish?
Sanding + oil = a 10-minute glow-up.
Want a fresh start?
We’ll be launching refinishing kits soon, and even offering rentals of tools like orbital sanders to make the process smoother (literally).
Where most custom furniture costs a fortune and takes months to deliver, we offer made-to-order pieces with customizable dimensions, completed within 3 weeks. That kind of flexibility is rare in this industry. And while our prices reflect the craftsmanship and materials we stand behind, they also reflect value that lasts.
And speaking of value...
A Zero Waste Workshop (Literally)
Right now, every bit of bamboo offcut from our production is used to heat our home. Bamboo burns clean and hot, making it a better use of scrap than sending it to landfill or burning harvested trees.
But as we grow, so will our waste, and our responsibility. That’s why we’re partnering with the amazing folks at Preterra to turn future bamboo scraps into biochar: a powerful soil amendment that improves soil health, retains water, and locks carbon in the ground for hundreds of years. It’s a regenerative, circular future, and we’re building toward it one table at a time.
A Material-First Future
We don’t rush new designs, because we design from the material up. That means slower, more intentional development, but with big benefits.
Imagine this: in a few years, you’ll be able to upgrade your bamboo table legs to a hempwood version, or even a limited-edition rose-petal composite. Same design, new material. It’s like a wardrobe update… for your furniture.
✨ Because beauty isn’t static.
🧰 Because repair is resilience.
🌎 Because sustainability means planning for what happens next.
So let your kids go wild with crayons. Let your dog claim a leg. Let your table live fully and honestly, just like you do.
We’ll help you keep it going.
